First of all, no
financial data is stored on your phone.
Second, you can
define a "Wallet PIN" that provides permission to
access the wallet. This PIN is enabled by default.
If you lose your phone or if your phone is stolen,
you can remotely change this PIN to prevent
unauthorized use. Just login to blazewallet.com or
call the customer support center to make the
change.
Third, you can
define a "Payment Limit PIN" that provides
permission to make a purchase above a certain
total price. This PIN works even if you decide not
to use the Wallet PIN. If you set the payment
limit to $0, a PIN is required for every
purchase.
Fourth, your bank
may define a "Transaction PIN" (a.k.a. Secure Code
or Bank PIN). The merchant may require you to
enter your bank pin or sign for transactions
costing $25 or more when you use Blaze payment
sticker and wave your cell phone to pay for your
purchase. Some merchants, such as movie theaters,
increase this threshold from $25 to
$35.
Finally, you can
remotely lock your phone at any time through the
Self Care Portal or by contacting customer care.
The remote lock activates your phone's "Lock
Phone" feature if available and previously
specified, and it resets the Wallet Pin. The
remote lock also temporarily or permanently
disables the secure smart chip on NFC
phones.
